Mike lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Born August 24th, 1963. His
love of art started at an early age. Not having many friends to play with
as a child, drawing and painting were companions, and ways to
express himself. This love of art continued through elementary
school and high school.

He graduated with a degree from the Academy Of Art in 1988. Although
dabbled in painting for the last 10 years, recent exposure and positive
reviews led Mike to devote more serious time to painting. He is
comfortable working with watercolor and ink, his favorite medium is
acrylic.

His impressionistic work needs no explanation whether it be, still life,
streetscapes, landscapes or figure.

“I realize that painting can be challenging and lonely at times, so it is very
important to paint subjects that are interesting, motivating and desirable.
As much as I like to paint people and still life I will always go back to my
old city streetscape subject where I' m most at ease, this also enhances
my passion. I love to paint geometric shapes with vantage points dressed
with an array of brilliant colors, in which one can imagine to be standing
right in the middle of my impressionistic three dimensional canvas.

My ultimate satisfaction is to see people moved by my paintings.”
